"When we help others we heal ourselves"

Individually and as a group, we at the Griffin's Loft donate our services, resources and finances to various charities and non-profit organizations.  In doing so we expand healing beyond the four walls of our establishment and touch many more lives.

Tuesday's Angels, Inc. ~ December 1, 2006, is a non-profit charity organization that provides emergency funding assistance to men, women and children with HIV/AIDS.  100% of all the dollars received go to clients. Griffin's Loft hosted a fundraiser consisting of a Reiki Circle lead by Rev. Scott Friedman on World AIDS Day.

Kids In Distress ~ Since October 7, 2006, Griffin's Loft has donated a portion of the proceeds from all of Jill Dahne's appearances to this worthy cause.  For more information on Kids In Distress or to find out ways you can help visit their web site at www.kidsindistress.org (see our photo album for pictures)

EASE Foundation ~ September 23, 2006, a local charity in Davie.  They have a food bank to supply Broward County residents in need.  For more information on EASE call 954-797-1077.  Griffin's Loft held a Fall Equinox Drumming Circle lead by Stephanie Vestal to collect canned goods, which were donated to EASE. (see our photo album for pictures)  We have made the commitment to be a collection station for canned goods to be regularly donated to EASE. 

Touch A Heart Foundation ~ December 12, 2005, a non-profit foundation dedicated to raising funds for less fortunate children in South Florida. Barb Pardee and Rev. Scott Friedman participated in a private fundraiser offering their services for free to all those who attended.

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation ~ October 2004 & 2005 - Rev. Scott Friedman participated in a private fundraiser at the home of Ceci Guerrero, Miami FL.  Coordnated large Reiki Circle with other practitioners to provide Reiki to all guests and free Reiki mini-sessions.

Women's AIDS Conference ~ April 2001, Fort Lauderdale, FL. - Rev. Scott Friedman and Rashid Saker accepted invitation to participate in conference, providing information and free Reiki mini-sessions for participants.
